FOR SCHOOLS

Our Company Directors Roy Evans (former Liverpool manager) and Steve McMahon (ex professional and international player and current TV pundit) work very closely with our highly qualified and skilled team here at Bootroom Academies. With their hands-on approach they will motive and engage your pupils further by attending some sessions within your school to help promote and raise the profile of football and the importance of physical activity within school time

All our coaches have full Criminal Record Checks, are first aid trained and also hold a minimum qualification of FA level 2.

Did you know? 1 in 4 pupils leaving primary school suffer from childhood obesity, Bootroom Academies believe that schools can work closely with us to help tackle this current issue.

PE and Sport Premium - Primary Schools

All schools are now supported with funding from the Government to make additional and sustainable improvements to the quality of PE physical activity within their provision.

Working alongside our exceptional team we can work with your school to help develop and add to the sport activities that your school may already offer. With the knowledge, qualifications and expertise our team have, we will also work alongside your existing staff (teachers, teaching assistants) and can provide them with relevant CPD training and/or resources needed to help them teach PE and sport more effectively. This will include shadowing and observing our team deliver sessions to your pupils.

We recognise each school is different and can negotiate the best way to assist you to adapt your needs with our support. This may be in the form of breakfast club coaching sessions, lunchtime sessions, or after school sessions. As we work with a number of schools, we also regularly organise mini school tournaments/fun days/master classes with our Company Directors Roy Evans and Steve McMahon.

We also offer bespoke packages to schools whereby our coaches can deliver sessions within your school timetable, and can deliver these to all ages. Our coaches can run a number of sessions over 1 day, delivering to all/selected classes within your school.

We also offer Sports Leaders UK Awards for pupils aged 9+. These are excellent awards to allow pupils to learn leadership, communication, social and team work skills through sport. These short courses have a duration of 1 - 2 days depending on the Award. Please contact us for more details on the specific Awards we offer.

PPA Sports - Primary Schools

Physical Activity is so important at all stages of life - Football is a great way to increase both physical and mental wellbeing of your pupils, whilst also benefitting your teachers by enabling them to carry out planning, preparation and assessment activities whilst we take care of your lessons. This can relieve the existing workload pressures on teachers which will help maintain correct levels of stress and a high morale within your school environment.

We work closely with schools to offer bespoke packages to suit their needs based on varying factors which may include the size of the school, pupil attendance etc.

Our time includes:

  • Covering timetabled lessons
  • PE Teaching Assistant CPD support *Optional
  • PE teaching resources
  • PE Schemes of Work
  • Planning, assessment & pupil progress
  • Impact report & measured outcomes
  • Breakfast, lunchtime & after school clubs *Full day package only

After School Coaching Courses:

The sessions we offer are over a school year are in blocks of a number of weeks (for example; every Monday 3.30pm-4.30pm for 15 weeks). Our sessions usually begin as school finishes (although we can tailor this around your school) for a duration of 1 hour. Our coaches follow a carefully planned Scheme of Work to ensure player and personal learning and development, along with fun and enjoyment.

The cost of the sessions are just £4 per session, which would be a total cost of £60 for the full course if we use the example above. This is paid for by parents/guardians/carers and hosted at the school facility. All children who attend the school are welcome to attend and they will all be awarded a certificate of achievement on completion of the course. This certificate will be given to each pupil by a footballing legend who will speak to the children and present them with their certificate.

We take great pride in the quality of the sessions our team deliver - players will learn new skills and techniques, will have a greater understanding of football and physical activity, as well as developing personal skills including social skills, team work, communication and learning about values, respect and fair play.

Sports Leadership Awards

We also offer Sports Leaders UK Awards suitable for pupils and students aged 9 and above (up to aged 16+).
